An abandoned kitten was found by police inside a bag and turned over to the Kaiserslautern animal shelter (Westpfalz police)

Police on patrol late Tuesday on the east side of Kaiserslautern came across a carrier bag sitting outside the gate of the animal shelter. Inside the bag was a kitten, which appeared to be in good health. The little feline was handed over to the animal shelter where it is now waiting for a new home. It is not known who left the bag outside the building.
