Due to a high call volume, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center’s appointment line will close to new calls 30 minutes early, starting at 15:30, from Monday to May 31 to better accommodate those already in the queue, the hospital said in a Facebook post Monday.

During the phone line closure, patients may still check appointment times, request new appointments or send messages to their primary care physician through the MHS Genesis Patient Portal.

The appointment line is usually open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday; it closes at noon every third Thursday of the month for training and is closed for federal holidays. It can be reached at: DSN - 590-LRMC (5762), or civilian, 06371-9464-LRMC (5762).
