German-American friendship festival comes to Ramstein next month

The German-American Friendship Festival is set to take place June 7-9 in Ramstein-Miesenbach, offering a weekend of music, food and entertainment. The free festival celebrates the bond between German and American communities, according to Ramstein city officials. The festival begins Friday evening with the U.S. Air Force’s Touch ‘n’ Go band at 6 p.m. At 8 p.m., Changes will perform a mix of pop, rock, funk and soul. On Saturday, the festival resumes at 6 p.m. with a performance by Hijack Nick, followed by Frantic Classic Rock at 8 p.m. Sunday is designated as family day, starting at 1 p.m. with various food and drink stalls.
