1. FC Kaiserslautern heads to the Baltic coast for a 1 p.m. Saturday match against league-leader Holstein Kiel. It is a big game for both teams. With four games to go, the Storks are looking for their first trip up to the Bundesliga, while a win, or at least a tie, would help the Red Devils in their fight against relegation to the third division. They will have plenty of support in Kiel, as the 1,467 tickets available to fans in the 15,034-capacity Holstein Stadium sold out in minutes. FCK is in 17th place, one point behind Rostock, and two points behind last week’s opponent Wiesbaden, in the league-saving 15th place. The Red Devils return home for a Saturday night game against Magdeburg, May 4 then head to Berlin for a May 11 game against Hertha. They finish the season at home on May 19 against Braunschweig, another team struggling against relegation.
