Student art exhibit opens Thursday

The annual German-American student art exhibit featuring work from Department of Defense and local German schools runs from Thursday to May 8 in Kaiserslautern City Hall. The state program Welcome to Rheinland-Pfalz, together with the German-American Community Office, the KMC school liaison office and the city of Kaiserslautern hosts an opening ceremony Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the foyer of City Hall. The U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa band will play at the ceremony. The exhibit can be viewed during opening hours: 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday; and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. City Hall is located at Willy-Brandt-Platz 1 in Kaiserslautern.
