The Kaiserslautern Military Community Center is celebrating the Month of the Military Child with a series of kids’ events designed to honor and entertain military children, service officials said in a statement on Monday.

On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the KMCC toy department will host a board game event, where participants can interact, strategize and enjoy friendly rivalry through a variety of games, including Monopoly Knockout, Piggy Piggy, Jenga and Atomix.

The celebration continues on April 20, with a tea party at the KMCC South Court entrance from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children are invited to dress up in their favorite prince or princess costumes. The day will be filled with crafts, tea, an Instamax “photo booth” and cupcakes, officials said.

Rounding out the month, on April 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., kids can tap into their inner superheroes as they play with Spiderman toys and enjoy coloring activities in the toy department.
