1. FC Kaiserslautern is heading to Berlin. The Red Devils punched their ticket to the German cup final May 25 by beating third division Saarbrücken 2-0. Spectators saw a boring first half at Ludwigspark Stadium before FCK turned up the heat in the second. Two headers, one by Marlon Ritter in the 53rd minute, and another by Almamy Toure in the 75th, put Kaiserslautern on the road to Berlin. But before the Red Devils seek their third DFB Pokal title, they need to secure a spot in the second division. Sitting in 16th place, the relegation spot, with seven games left to play, FCK heads to Hamburg for a 1 p.m. Saturday game against HSV Hamburg. The northern squad is in fourth place and struggling for their chance to be promoted back up to the Bundesliga. The Red Devils follow up with another away game against Fürth on April 12 before returning to Fritz Walter Stadium on April 20 for a match against Wiesbaden.
