Red Devils manage a tie on the road

()

1. FC Kaiserslautern tied Hannover 96 1-1, in a German second division Saturday night game. The Red Devils took the lead after a scoreless first half, on a goal by Kenny Prince Redondo in the 53rd minute. Andreas Vogtsammer scored in the 68th minute for the equalizer. Both teams traded opportunities to score, including a shot to the crossbar by Tobias Raschl in the third minute of stoppage time, but no one was able to put the ball into the net. The tie leaves Kaiserslautern in 15th place with 29 points, one point ahead of Rostock in the relegation zone. Hannover remains in fifth place. The leagues take a break next weekend for national team play. The next FCK game is at 1 p.m. on March 30, at Fritz Walter Stadium against Fortuna Düsseldorf.
