Spring is in the air and there are plenty of ways to celebrate this weekend in the KMC.

Downtown Kaiserslautern kicks of the season with Lautern Blüt Auf, featuring artists, live music, face painting and crafts for kids. Stores will be open for Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Culinary treats will be sold at Schillerplatz and in Fackelstrasse. The Easter bunny is expected to make an appearance.

The Ramstein and Vogelweh Bowling Center hosts Let’s Glow Bowling every Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Vogelweh and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ramstein. Enjoy neon lights, music and an upbeat vibe while bowling.

The Easter market in Bad Arolsen, about a three-hour drive from Kaiserslautern, is this weekend. There will be glass blowing, Easter egg decorating and other arts. For more Easter markets, including Middle Ages markets closer to Wiesbaden and Frankfurt, check out this list.
