1 .FC Kaiserslautern beat VfL Osnabrück 3-2 in an exciting match at Fritz Walter Stadium on Sunday afternoon. More than 40,000 spectators saw the last-place guests take the lead in the 48th minute after a scoreless first half. The Red Devils equalized the score on Ragnar Ache’s 13th goal of the season following a corner kick by Tymoteusz Puchacz in the 66th minute. Osnabrück took the lead again, scoring three minutes later. Ba-Muaka Simkala evened the score in 78th minute with his first goal of the season. Ache scored the winning goal with a right footer in the second minute of stoppage time. The win leaves Kaiserslautern in 15th place with 28 points but widens the gap to the relegation zone to three points. The Red Devils have two challenging games ahead of them. Next week they head to Hannover for the Saturday night game against the fifth-place 96er before hosting fourth place Düsseldorf at Fritz Walter Stadium on March 30.
