The Armed Services Blood Program is scheduled to host blood drives March 25 at Kleber Gym and March 26 at Sembach Gym, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., to support the blood supply needs of U.S. and NATO military personnel.

The drives are open to military members, civilians, local nationals and family members over age 18, with an urgent call for Type O blood donors. Pre-registration is recommended, though walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.

Recent FDA eligibility updates have expanded and now allow gay and bisexual men to donate as well as individuals previously restricted due to European residency during the “mad cow” disease epidemic.
