London, United Kingdom, Nov. 13, 1958: A makeup artist preps singer and actress Eartha Kitt backstage at the London Palladium. The sultry-voiced singer was a guest star on Britain’s “Sunday Night at the Palladium” on Nov. 13, 1958. Days earlier on Nov. 3, Kitt performed before Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke Of Edinburgh as part of The Royal Variety Performance show at the Coliseum in London.
