Nürburg, Germany, June 6, 2003: Metal fans flash the “devil’s horn” at Rock am Ring 2002. The annual hard rock and heavy metal festival was held June 7-9 this year, again at the Nürburgring, a 150,000-person capacity motor sports complex whose organizers planned the first Rock am Ring in 1985 celebrating the inauguration of a newer, shorter version of the track.
