RAF Lakenheath, England, April 9, 2009: Hundreds of troops and civilians attend a memorial service for Staff Sgt. Phillip Myers. Myers, an explosive ordnance disposal specialist with Lakenheath’s 48th Civil Engineer Squadron, was killed by an IED several days earlier, April 4, in Afghanistan.
