United Nations cemetery, Busan, South Korea, March 1955: A Korean woman pulls weeds among the gravesites at the world’s only remaining United Nations cemetery sometime in early 1955. The first dead were buried at Busan in November 1951. Several of the nations — including the United States — have repatriated their war dead, but still over 2,000 remain on the 35 acres.
