Naval Station Rota, Spain, Oct. 7, 2003: Sailors aboard cranes paint the side of the USS Iwo Jima. About 5,000 sailors and Marines with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group were in Rota for a port call before heading home after an eight-month deployment to Iraq and Liberia.
