Munich, Germany, July 31, 2003: Visitors to the Auer Dult fly through the Munich sky on an amusement park ride in front of the Mariahilfs church. The Dult — an old word for a church festival — takes place in the Munich neighborhood of Au three times a year. It features market stands selling, among other things, antiques, pottery, pots and pans, and rides to keep the wee ones happy. The history of the Dult goes back to the 14th century, and has been held on the Mariahilfsplatz in Au since 1905.
