Frankfurt, Germany, Sept. 22, 1959: Johhny Cash, music star and Air Force veteran, visits the AFN radio studio. The singer took over as guest disc jockey on AFN’s Hillbilly Reveille on the Sept. 25, 1959, broadcast. The morning show was the singer’s favorite when he was stationed in Landsberg for three years.
