Hadithah, Iraq, Jan. 6, 2005: Sgt. William Henderson of the 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment keeps an eye on roads near the town of Hadithah, northwest of Fallujah. Marines are aggressively targeting insurgents who plant roadside bombs and land mines along what’s called the “Hit-Hadithah Corridor,” a strategic stretch of desert roads running along the Euphrates River.
