Cannes, France, May 1957: Actress Elizabeth Taylor and her husband, producer Mike Todd, arrive at a party organized by Todd in honor of the opening of his latest movie, “Around the World in 80 Days,” at the Cannes Film Festival.

The annual film festival founded in 1946 runs from May 16-27 this year.
