Washington, D.C., May 28, 2012: An American flag flies in front of the Korean War Veterans Memorial, Memorial Day 2012. Located near the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall, the Korean War Veterans Memorial was dedicated on July 27, 1995, and commemorates the sacrifices of the 5.8 million Americans who served in the U.S. armed services during the three years of the Korean War.
