Grafenwoehr, Germany, 1958: Despite foggy weather, by 7:30 a.m. the dockside was already crowded with Elvis fans although the USS Randall, with Pvt. Elvis Presley aboard, was not due in until 8:30. MPs, SPs, and German police locked arms to hold back the surging youngsters, after the fans broke through the barricades and into the roped off area.
