Bien Hoa Air Base, Vietnam, March, 1971: Bubbles, the mascot of the Bien Hoa Aircraft Transit Alert Office, sits under an appropriate sign as he gets set to do his thing. Bubbles’ hobby was leading incoming aircraft into the parking area, “trotting down the yellow line ahead of the planes,” according to his owner, Staff Sgt. John E. Molnar.
