(Tribune News Service) — A Marine Corps helicopter crashed Thursday afternoon near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, military officials said.

Two personnel on the Marine Corps AH-1 helicopter were taken to local hospitals in stable condition, according to a statement from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Public Affairs. The incident was reported around 3:30 p.m. in Wrightstown.

Officials said the crash was under investigation and more details were not immediately released.
