WIESBADEN, Germany — Freshmen at Wiesbaden High School are seeking donations of recreation supplies as part of an “Activity Drive” for 1st Infantry Division soldiers currently deployed to Afghanistan.

The donations will be sent to soldiers who are serving in remote locations.

“They really don’t have a lot of stuff to do,” said Wiesbaden school secretary Stacy Nielsen, whose brother-in-law is in the 1st ID.

Items could include things such as games, puzzles, sports equipment, DVDs, CDs, magazines and books, game consoles and restored laptops.

Donations can be dropped off at the school or by e-mailing Nielsen at Stacy.Nielsen@eu.dodea.edu for other arrangements. The drive lasts until May 6.
