BAMBERG, Germany – The Department of Defense Education Activity school system in Europe is looking for applicants “within the local commuting area” to fill positions at the new Schweinfurt High School that is scheduled to open this fall.

Among openings being posted are school registrar, educational aide and substitute teacher positions, according to a DODDS-Europe press release announcing the vacancies. All interested applicants must be U.S. citizens.

The Defense Department announced its approval for the new school last week, which means students will no longer have to make the 37-mile commute to neighboring Bamberg.

A full list of available positions will be posted at: http://www.eu.dodea.edu/hr/vacancies.php, DODDS officials said.

For more information on the application process, contact Yolanda Deutschmann or Katie Chaney at 06113807538 or 7540 respectively.
