Also, final season action for the non-DODDS schools, two of the three of which are coming off last weekend’s Asia-Pacific Activities Conference tournaments.Teams, players to watch — Regular-season champion Humphreys and the team they’d dethroned, Seoul American, may be on a collision course to meet in Saturday’s final, with Seoul Foreign (8-4) waiting in the wings should one or the other falter. The Blackhawks feature the inside-outside play of center Nate Hellams and guard Bashr Edmonds along with sharp-shooting freshman Jackson Taylor. The Falcons counter with depth and solid guard play from Jezreel Harper and Myles Haynes and the inside games of Xavier McDaniel and DeAndre and Quentin Metcalf. The Blackhawks (11-1) swept the regular-season series from the Falcons (10-2), beating them 59-48 on Jan. 9 and 64-63 on Jan. 28.Also — Being regular-season champion the past two years hasn’t translated well in the KAIAC Blue finals for the Falcons. Daegu edged Seoul American in the 2014 final and Osan did the same last year. Now, the Falcons will try for a chance to play spoiler themselves. Basketball DODDS Japan tournaments Thursday-Saturday at Yokota. Host Panthers looking to capture back-to-back championships in the tournament, with the boys (17-5) hoping to hold off a field including Edgren (9-3) and Perry (13-4). The girls (14-2) appear to be on collision course with Zama (10-4), the team Yokota beat in the Far East D-II final last year.Kadena at Kubasaki, girls 5 p.m., boys 7 p.m. Last regular-season meeting between the two Okinawa powers, the most decorated teams in terms of Far East D-I Tournament titles. The Dragons boys and Panthers girls look to seal regular-season sweeps of their foes.

WrestlingKanto Plain Association of Secondary Schools finals, Saturday at St. Mary’s. Final tune-up for the Far East meet Feb. 15-17 at Osan, and yet another clash of D-I titans: Host and regular-season champion St. Mary’s and Kinnick, which have shared the Far East D-I titles the last two years.
