Gray went for 18 points and 16 rebounds Friday and 26 points and 12 rebounds Saturday as Ramstein swept Hohenfels.Chris Moore, Sigonella: The sophomore sensation was, well, sensational in a pair of games against Division I Naples. After pouring in a game-high 30 in a Friday loss, Moore made sure of a split by scoring nine of his 26 points at the end, including the game-winning three-pointer, in a 46-44 win Saturday.Isaah Negron, Wiesbaden: The breakout star of the largely new-look Warriors is Negron, who led all scorers in both Wiesbaden wins over Bitburg. Negron scored 18 on Friday and 20 on Saturday.Colin Whitten, Patch: The Panthers beat Wiesbaden for last year’s Division I championship – their second straight – but graduation left the team in need of new stars. Whitten filled that void capably in a weekend sweep of Black Forest Academy, posting respective stat lines of 14 points and 11 rebounds and 18 points and eight rebounds.

Girls basketballCierra Martin, Wiesbaden: The reigning Stars and Stripes girls basketball Athlete of the Year and star of the defending Division I champions launched her campaign to repeat as both last weekend. The senior wing notched a tidy 10-point, 10-rebound double-double Friday and upgraded to 12 points, 15 rebounds, six steals and four blocked shots on Saturday as the Warriors swept Bitburg.Adrianna Ruffin, Lakenheath: The Lancers swept regional rival Alconbury over the weekend behind the inspired play of returnee Ruffin. The senior guard totaled 19 points, seven rebounds and seven steals on Friday and a 20-point, 13-rebound double-double on Saturday.Emily Campbell, Black Forest Academy: The returning leader of the defending Division II European champions got right back to business over the weekend. The All-Europe forward produced a combined 20 points and 15 rebounds and anchored the Falcons’ dominant defense in Friday and Saturday routs over Division I Patch.Keylee Soto, Naples: The Wildcat lead guard capably navigated her squad around upset bids from Division III Sigonella. Soto had a combined 27 points and nine assists on the weekend.

WrestlingJoseph Rivera, Aviano: This first-time wrestler made an immediate impact as the DODDS-Europe mat season opened Saturday. Rivera took a first-place finish at 285 pounds, one of three Saints to win weight-class trophies in the four-team meet.

MarksmanshipMaggie Ehmann, Patch: The Panther senior was coolly efficient in Saturday’s season-opening six-school meet. Ehmann posted the outright top score from standing and kneeling position and tied for top honors from prone position in a winning 293-point performance.
