MANNEHIM, Germany – All-Europe guard Larry Stevenson broke loose for 31 points in just over three quarters of play Thursday evening to help the second-seeded Sigonella Jaguars throttle the third-seeded Alconbury Dragons, 73-46, in a pool play game of the European Division III tournament here.Stevenson punctuated his outburst with two three-balls, and Sigonella also benefited from 17 points from Michael Mink, nine from Jack Wegman and 17 from Chris McKissick.None of the leaders got to play the full game; Sigonella coach James McKissick removed his starters with 6 minutes, 41 seconds to play and his team up 63-30.Alconbury surrendered a 10-1 run to Sigonella in the game’s opening minutes, but clawed back into the game at 18-13 at the end of one period.Sigonella, however, forcing turnovers on almost every Alconbury possession, outscored the Dragons 28-10 over the next eight minutes.Alconbury got 15 points from Taylor Williamson and 11 from Kahlil Williams.
