BRUNSSUM, Netherlands - The Bitburg Barons improved to 2-0 on Saturday with a runaway 58-21 win over the host AFNORTH Lions.

Curtiss Wilson rushed for 323 yards on 20 carries and scored three first-half touchdowns to pace the Barons.

Melih Yabici contributed a touchdown catch from Isiah Higgs and a 33-yard field goal to the Lion offense.

Like they did last weekend against Baumholder, the Barons inflated a narrow halftime lead into a blowout through the relentless pressure of its hefty line and deep bench. Bitburg led AFNORTH 20-12 before piling on 38 points after halftime.
