CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Authorities are still searching for an Air Force spouse who went missing last week from Kadena Air Base.

Kelli Abad, a 27-year-old mother, was last seen on the base around 9 p.m. Oct. 26. Japanese police said Tuesday that her green Toyota was found over the weekend at Cape Zanpa, an area of beaches and rocky coastline about 10 miles north of Kadena. A search of the area by U.S. and Japanese authorities on Saturday did not locate Abad and the missing person case remains open, a spokesman for the Kadena Town police department said.

The Air Force did not provide any additional information on the case Tuesday.

According to a bulletin released by AFN Okinawa, Abad is 5 feet 7 inches tall, has blond hair and green eyes, and weighs about 116 pounds.

Anyone with information on the disappearance is urged to call the Kadena Law Enforcement desk at DSN 634-2475.
