KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — The 21st Theater Sustainment Command conducted a retreat ceremony Thursday honoring its fallen soldiers. Members gathered at Panzer Kaserne in Kaiserslautern, where Col. Keith Sledd, the 16th Sustainment Brigade commander, unveiled the plaques to Sgt. Anton Phillips and Staff Sgt. Derek Farley on the command’s memorial. During the ceremony a plaque for Staff Sgt. James Ide was also unveiled by the 18th Military Police Brigade’s commander, Col. Thomas Evans. Guest speaker at the retreat was Sgt. Maj. of the Army Kenneth Preston.
