KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany – Brig. Gen. Mark Hendrix takes command of the U.S. Army Reserve 7th Civil Support Command in a ceremony Saturday on Panzer Kaserne in Kaiserslautern.

Hendrix, who relinquished command of the 350th Civil Affairs Command in Pensacola, Fla., replaces Brig. Gen. Jimmie Jaye Wells, who has been nominated to receive his second star while taking command of the 75th Battle Command Training Division in Houston.

The 7th CSC includes 22 Army Reserve units in Germany and Italy, and is the only Reserve command outside the U.S.

Hendrix also will assume duties as deputy commander of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command.
