WIESBADEN, Germany — This year’s Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas program kicks off next week for military members and federal employees.

Donors can give to any of the more than 2,300 national and international charities. The campaign runs Oct. 4 through Dec. 3.

Contributors can use the traditional paper pledge card or an automated option, dubbed e-Giving. Payment options include payroll deduction, credit or debit cards and electronic checks.

Overseas CFC participants also can elect for their donations to go directly to family support and youth programs in their local community.

In Europe, more than $97,000 was designated for these programs last year. All told, soldiers and civilian employees in Europe contributed approximately $2.4 million to charity, according to a U.S. Army Europe news release.
