YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan – Looking for a job?

Yokota will host a job fair Sept. 27 for dependents and other military ID cardholders. Hiring managers looking to fill various non-appropriated fund positions at the base will be present and ready to conduct on-the-spot interviews, officials said.

There is a particular need at Yokota right now for child-care workers and base restaurant employees, said Jen Daniel, a human resource assistant with the 374th Force Support Squadron at Yokota.

Only military ID card holders are eligible to apply for the open jobs, all of which require prospective employees to already be Japan under the U.S.-Japan Status of Forces Agreement, Daniel said.

She said job seekers who attend are encouraged to bring their resumes and to dress for success.

The job fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Yujo Community Center.

For more information, contact Yokota’s NAF HR office at DSN 225-3902.
