MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan — Some of the favorite heroes and villains from CBS’s “Survivor” television program will be here Friday to help give away a free trip to Australia.

Twelve cast members — including two-time winner Sandra Diaz-Twine, goat farmer “Big Tom” Buchannan and bad guy Jonny “Fairplay” Dalton — will be in the club’s Tohoku Ballroom from 5 to 7 p.m. as part of the Armed Forces Entertainment event.

Twenty club members — 10 officers and 10 enlisted troops — will be picked via a drawing to compete for the grand prize trip for two to Australia sponsored by Misawa’s 35th Force Support Squadron.

Those selected to play can expect “Survivor-type games,” according to 35th FSS marketing spokeswoman Noelle Cummings.

For spectators, the event is free to all club members, $15.95 for non-members, and is open only to adults.
