New vice commander nominated for Pacific Air Forces

Air Force Lt. Gen. Paul J. Selva has been nominated by President Barack Obama to serve as vice commander of Pacific Air Forces at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, according to a Department of Defense release Wednesday. Selva will replace Lt. Gen. Brooks L. Bash, who has served in the position since September 2010.
Selva is currently serving as assistant to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Washington, D.C.
