CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Kadena Air Base will host AmericaFest 2011, Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. for SOFA status ID card holders and Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. for all SOFA status ID card holders and Japanese.

According to a Kadena Air Base press release, the two-day event will feature aircraft static displays including the F-15 Eagle, P-3 Orion, F/A-18 Hornet, C-130 Hercules, as well as some Japanese aircraft.

American style foods and local foods will be sold as well as beverages including water, soft drinks and beer. Beer will only be sold to people ages 21 and older. Smoking is prohibited.

No backpacks, banners, signs, cans, glass bottles, coolers, alcoholic beverages, cameras lenses 300mm and greater, narcotics, weapons or items that could be conceived as a weapon will be allowed into AmericaFest. Diaper bags and small purses will be allowed.
