Coaches and an admissions official from the University of Dubuque in Iowa will conduct information sessions for prospective college football and soccer players next week at six high schools in Germany.

They will cover how athletes can market themselves to college coaches and how to choose the right college athletic program according to skills, experience and desire to play. Athletic opportunities, academics, admission and financial planning at Dubuque also are on the schedule.

Head football coach Vince Brautigam and Jason Berna, head men’s and women’s soccer coach, will join international admissions director Bob Broshous at the sessions.

Former Ramstein High School athletes Brennan Relaford and Jackie Ventrice, among the scores of DODDS athletes attending Dubuque, will be at Monday’s event at Ramstein, Broshous said.

The following sessions are scheduled:

Monday — Kaiserslautern at noon; Ramstein at 5:30 p.m.Tuesday — Heidelberg at 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.Wednesday — 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at AnsbachThursday — noon at Vilseck; 5:30 p.m. at HohenfelsInformation about the University of Dubuque is available at www.dbq.edu.
