With a few notable exceptions, the penultimate weekend of the 2018-19 DODEA-Europe basketball regular season was marked by sweeps and blowouts as contenders rounded into postseason form.

BoysStuttgart 45, Kaiserslautern 44, OT: Saturday at Kaiserslautern, the Panthers evened the score with the Raiders after a 53-46 loss on Friday.

Wade Cooper scored a game-high 14 points to pace Stuttgart, while Sabriel Ashley added 13. Tre Dotson and Ervin Johnson scored 10 points apiece for the Raiders.

The Raiders wrap up their season Friday against Wiesbaden, while Stuttgart hosts Division II power Black Forest Academy next weekend.

Ramstein 67/52, SHAPE 31/13: At Ramstein, the Royals completed their fourth straight season with an undefeated home record.

The reigning Division I dynasty will put its overall unbeaten record on the line Tuesday against Wiesbaden.

Naser Eaves scored 21 points on Friday and Luis Figeroua had 15 on Saturday to lead the Royal routs.

Naples 68/67, Sigonella 30/50: At Naples, Tye Thompson poured in a combined 43 points over two runaway Wildcat wins.

Ashton Jeanty added 31 total points for Naples, which is idle for the rest of the regular season.

Lakenheath 56/60, AFNORTH 37/45: At Brunssum, Netherlands, the Division I Lancers dispatched their Division II hosts in a pair of double-digit victories.

Daniel Uelmen scored 20 points on Friday and 22 more on Saturday to lead the Lancers, while Maurice Thomas totaled 26 points over the two games.

Rota 58, Bahrain 57: Saturday at Rome, the Admirals edged the Falcons in a Division II showdown.

Antonio White posted 28 points and 14 rebounds and Callum Wilkerson had 13 points and 13 rebounds in double-double efforts for the Admirals.

Rota notched another Division II win over the weekend with a 46-28 defeat of Marymount.

GirlsRamstein 47/46, SHAPE 22/7: At Ramstein, the Royals routed the visiting Spartans in a lopsided Division I matchup.

Ramstein’s Cici Williams topped all scorers in both games with 13 points Friday and 14 on Saturday. Shemilia Johnson posted a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double in Saturday’s romp.

The Royals wrap up their regular season Tuesday against Wiesbaden. The games were the last of the regular season for SHAPE.

Naples 48/50, Sigonella 18/31: At Naples, the returning Division I runner-up tuned up for another tournament run with a sweep of the Division III champs.

Naples star Roxanne Sasse scored game-high totals of 21 and 24 points, respectively, on Friday and Saturday. Mia Rawlins posted consecutive double-doubles with 10 points and 11 rebounds Friday and 11 points and 11 rebounds Saturday.

Black Forest 44/47, Ansbach 17/15: At Kandern, Germany, the reigning Division II champions crushed their overmatched Division III visitors.

Jessie Campbell scored a combined 26 points and handled 19 rebounds over the two games to lead BFA, which will cap its regular season with a showdown against reigning Division I champion Stuttgart next weekend.

Elsewhere in Division II, visiting Bahrain edged Rota 40-39, while Marymount handled Rota 36-17.

Baumholder 28/26, Hohenfels 14/22: At Baumholder, the Bucs picked up a sweep of their Division III rivals.

Lydia Coyour scored 13 points and LaNiya Myers added 12 in Friday’s victory. Jasmine Dorsey scored eight points and Rowan Payne pulled down 12 rebounds in Saturday’s sweep-clinching win.

June Smith scored a combined 19 points over the two games to pace the Tigers.

Alconbury 28/41, Brussels 27/17: At Alconbury, the host Dragons earned a one-point Friday win and chased it with a Saturday blowout.

Kira Thorne scored a combined 22 points to lead the Dragons, while Alynna Palacios collected a total of 26 rebounds over the two games.
