RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany — Eric Murray picked up the victory Tuesday as the Ramstein Americans clubbed Romania 17-3 to improve to 2-0 in the round-robin portion of the European Big League Europe, Middle East and Africa Regional baseball tournament for players 16-19 years of age.

The victory followed Ramstein’s 12-2 victory over Austria on Monday behind the one-hit pitching of Dotson Linger.

The Americans take on the Netherlands at noon Wednesday in the final round-robin game, which will determine seedings for Thursday’s semifinals.

The championship game is scheduled for Friday, with the winner advancing to Little League Baseball’s Big League World Series July 30-Aug. 2 in Easley, S.C.
