Division IIZama at Matthew C. Perry, 7 p.m. – Two teams thin in numbers, but long on desire. Trojans want to get back to that D-II title game for the first time under coach Scott Bolin, but Samurai prevail in this one. … Samurai 14, Trojans 10.

Daegu at Osan, 7 p.m. – First time for the host Cougars to compete for Division II title honors since 2015. Experience carries the Warriors on this day. … Warriors 15, Cougars 6.

GuamGeorge Washington at Guam High, 7 p.m. – Round 2 of the tough guys going up against the Panthers. It won’t be the one-sided outcome that last week’s loss to Father Duenas was, but still a decisive win. … Geckos 21, Panthers 14.

Saturday

Division INile C. Kinnick at Kadena, 5 p.m. – A rematch of last year’s spine-tingling duels, including the D-I championship game. Both games last year decided by a combined six points; this one likewise, with the Panthers prevailing. … Panthers 18, Red Devils 17.

GuamOkkodo at Southern, 10 a.m. – Not much to gauge these two by, since they each won by forfeit over Simon Sanchez. … Bulldogs 3, Dolphins 2.Father Duenas at John F. Kennedy, 7 p.m. – This could be tighter than it appears on paper, given that the Friars’ defense hasn’t been as lockdown as it’s been in the past. … Friars 23, Islanders 9.Simon Sanchez vs. Tiyan at George Washington, 7 p.m. – Can the Sharks finish this one? … Titans 8, Sharks 6.
