Key performers — Garrett Macias, Sr., QB-FS; Mason Graydon, Sr., LB (33 tackles, 5 sacks in 2016); Andrew Borrero, Sr., LB-RB (545 yards, 4 TDs, 95 carries; 39 tackles, 6 for losses); Elijah LeBron, Jr., LB (32 tackles, 6 for losses); John Keith, Sr., LB (34 tackles); Marshall China, So., RB-DL; Dylan Ernst, Sr., DB-WR; Ethan Peterson, Jr., LB-RB (316 yards, 3 TDs, 90 carries).
Strengths — Strong veteran starting corps, experience and depth in all aspects.
Drawbacks — Almost none to speak of, save for replacing departed Pacific touchdown leader Caeleb Ricafrente (graduated) and defensive leader Zach Brown (PCS).
Overview Contending. Samurai still have much work ahead of them, but they have the pieces in a manner like they’ve never had. For the first time in school history, Perry has a junior varsity program.
