Kinnick Red Devils (seven total Far East team championships); Yokota Panthers (two total Far East team championships); St. Mary’s International Titans (reigning Kanto Plain Association of Secondary Schools champion, 10 total Far East tournament team titles); American School In Japan Mustangs (four total Far East tournament team titles); Christian Academy Japan Knights. Division II, Osan American Cougars (one team championship); Daegu Warriors; Robert D. Edgren Eagles (reigning team champion, four total Far East team titles); E.J. King Cobras; Zama American Trojans (four total Far East team titles).Returning Far East individual weight-class champions — Justin Duenas, Kadena, 101; Steven Walter, Kubasaki, 108 (two-time champion); Chad Wilder, Zama American, 141 (reigning Outstanding Wrestler); Jeffrey Koo, St. Mary’s, 168; Fred Suniga, Kubasaki, 215.Format — Individual round-robin for seeding purposes on first day. Single-elimination with consolation individual freestyle tournament on second day (if elimination bouts go quickly, a few dual meets may be conducted Wednesday evening). Dual-meet tournament concludes on third day.Schedule of events — Opening ceremony 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Purdy. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. and ends at times to be determine as bouts are needed.Awards — Team awards to top three finishers in individual freestyle and dual-meet tournaments. Individual medals to top six finishers in each of 13 weight classes; top six score points for their teams. Team scoring is on a 12-8-5-3-2-1 point system. Outstanding Wrestler award as voted on by coaches.
