Last week: Hurled a four-inning no-hitter to ignite a sweep of Osan American and Daegu American at Osan Air Base in a DODDS-Korea Softball League triangular meet at Osan Air Base. Kim’s Falcons remained perfect at 4-0 after the first DODDS-Korea no-hitter of the season.

Kim, a senior, faced 13 batters, walking one and striking out 10, and was supported by 13 hits, two each by Maria Garcia, who also homered, and Teah Heidorn. They each stole three bases. The Falcons also beat Daegu 14-8.

"She did a great job. She’s come a long way" as a pitcher, coach Julian Harden said of Kim, who spent much of her time last season catching or playing center field before being converted to the mound. "She’s done an outstanding job. On Saturday, she was amazing."
