RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany — Michelle Aguila scored twice, and Francesca Flores toed home the game-winner Thursday as Naples moved into the European Division III semifinals with a 3-2 victory over Alconbury.

Flores capped a brilliant solo run up the right side of the Alconbury defense with a deft shot with 11:42 left in the game.

Alconbury, which got its goals from Marianna Vertrudez and Christina Arredondo, lost to III-South conference champion Hohenfels 6-0 earlier in the day.

Naples was to play Hohenfels Thursday evening, but both teams already had secured spots in the semifinals.

Aviano, the American Schools in Italy regular season and Mediterranean Regional tournament champ, remained unbeaten and untied this season by topping Ansbach 3-1 and Menwith Hill 7-0 Thursday. Those two teams were playing Thursday evening for the final semifinal berth.

In Division I, Ramstein had no trouble advancing to Friday’s semifinals, with a 4-0 victory over Wiesbaden and a 6-1 win against Würzburg.
