Guam High’s Amber Gadsden, gold-medal winner in last November’s Far East tournament, has been named to the Independent Interscholastic Athletic Association of Guam’s All-Island team for the third straight year.

The senior, named IIAAG Most Valuable Player a season ago, was one of five players selected All-Island from a Panthers squad that finished unbeaten at 10-0 and won the IIAAG’s regular-season title for the second straight year.

Also named All-Island from the Panthers’ girls’ lineup were singles players Sydney Short and Chloe Gadsden and doubles specialists Caroline Loynd and Rea Wilson.

Guam High’s boys finished sixth at 4-6 and had no players selected All-Island.
