Four Pacific-based soldiers have been selected to attend the All-Army men’s softball tryout camp scheduled for Aug. 25-Sept. 17 at Fort Benning, Ga.

Three are stationed in Korea, Dann Rogers of Daegu/Area IV and Robert Mitcham and Brandon Sonneburg of Camp Casey. The fourth is Chris Stevens of Torii Station, Okinawa, according to an All-Army training camp message.

They and 21 other soldiers will battle for spots on the All-Army team playing in the All-Armed Forces tournament Sept. 18-24 at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla. Air Force is the defending champion.

Players selected to the All-Armed Forces team will next play at the Amateur Softball Association national championship tournament Sept. 30-Oct. 4 at ASA’s Oklahoma City headquarters.
