RAF MENWITH HILL, England -- The visiting Woodham Warriors spoiled the Mustangs’ homecoming football game Saturday with a rousing 47-8 victory.
Christopher Armstrong ran for four touchdowns and Kyle Broad threw two touchdown passes, both to receiver Josh Penny, as Woodham romped in the season finale for both teams. The teams are two of four members of the Independent League, a first-year DODDS-Europe organization playing nine-man football. Brussels won the league’s inaugural title on the strength of an undefeated season.
Chuckie Reuss scored a touchdown and Josh Wilcox a two-point conversion for the Mustangs.
