VILSECK, Germany – The Vilseck Falcons punched their ticket into this week’s European Division I semifinals Saturday with a 39-0 victory over the Kaiserslautern Red Raiders.

Vilseck, behind Shawn Peebles’ 45-yard TD run on the Falcons’ first play from scrimmage, went up 29-0 at the end of the first period on a 17-yard TD run by Carlton Campbell and a 30-yard scoring jaunt by Tyler Lewis. Lewis closed out the quarter by retuning a pass interception 50 yards to pay dirt.

Blade Strauss ran 4 yards for a second-quarter TD, and Jesse Partee kicked a 30-yard field goal 7:30 before halftime to close out the scoring.

With Vilseck clearing its bench the rest of the way, none of the Vilseck rushers reached big totals.

Peebles rushed three times for 59 yards, Lewis twice for 53 yards and Campbell twice for 22 yards.

Treyton Simmons led Kaiserslautern (0-6) with 81 yards. He also blocked two field-goal tries.

Next up for Vilseck (4-2) is a semifinal game Saturday at Ramstein.
